EXPERIENCE
Our Teams of lawyers have significant experience in advising on all aspects of property development and construction matters both locally and further afield. Our clients range from established property developers and landowners, to substantial land owning estates and public bodies.
Our Contract and Property Teams pride themselves on offering prompt, thorough and often innovative solutions to the variety of challenges faced by our clients operating in this sector. We aim to offer an understanding of the commercial realities affecting our clients and to assist them in making informed, often pragmatic decisions tailored to their needs.
Our services are always delivered in an approachable, down to earth professional manner, either at our offices, our clients premises or on site. We also recognize that matters don’t always proceed according to plan and our litigation services also encompass these situations.
Our teams have significant experience of advising on construction contracts, site acquisition and disposal work, joint venture agreements of all kinds, funding, securing and granting easements, and infrastructure agreements. We have recently advised on multi million pound developments both in Pembrokeshire and further a field, and are also experienced at negotiating planning agreements including affordable housing obligations. We regularly advice our major clients on arrangements and transactions of significant value.
Our Litigation Department has over 40 years experience in advising builders and developers with regard to litigation including adjudications, arbitrations and claims before the Technology and Construction Court (TCC). We have an excellent relationship with a number of local surveyors who are often able to provide a quick and cost effective report narrowing the issues in dispute.
Lowless Commercial also specializes in Health & Safety advice. We provide a fixed cost Health & Safety Risk Assessment and on-going support with regard to changes in Health & Safety legislation and Health and Safety Audits. Jonathan Marsh has recently joined the firm from Eversheds in Cardiff.
